In the first quarter of 2025, the top social apps in Ireland showed varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users, based on data from Sensor Tower.

TikTok - Videos, Shop & LIVE maintained a robust presence with weekly revenue peaking at around $119.8K in early January. Downloads experienced a gradual decline from 10.2K to approximately 8K by the end of March. Active users remained strong, with fluctuations around 873K, peaking at 914K in early March.

Grindr - Gay Dating & Chat saw steady weekly revenue, ranging from $20K to $23.5K. Download numbers were modest, averaging around 450 per week, while active users hovered around 11K, with a slight dip in mid-February.

Instagram experienced a slight increase in revenue, peaking at $11.3K in mid-January. Downloads decreased steadily from 6.7K to 4.9K by the end of March. Active users remained stable, ending the quarter with a peak of 829K.

Tango- Live Stream, Video Chat showed a declining revenue trend, starting at $4.8K and dropping to $2.8K. Downloads were low, with a gradual decline to around 275 weekly. Active users peaked at 2.2K in early February.

Facebook maintained a consistent revenue stream, peaking at $6.5K in mid-March. Downloads showed a decline from 6.5K to approximately 5K. Active users remained strong, peaking at 980K by the end of March.
